26 January – 5 February 2027 · Economy: €2,390 per person
Yacht: Lagoon 450 / Bali 4.8
Start & finish: Le Marin, Martinique
Airport transfer: About 40–45 minutes by car from Fort-de-France – Martinique Aimé Césaire Airport (FDF).
Island-hop through the Lesser Antilles, from Saint Lucia’s bays to the reefs of Tobago Cays. We offer the same rich itinerary in two yacht categories, so you can choose the comfort level that suits you.
Where we sail
- Martinique, Le Marin: our departure and return base. Marigot Bay on Saint Lucia is among our planned stops.
- Wildlife on the passages. We may encounter dolphins, including pantropical spotted dolphins and pilot whales, as well as larger whales such as sperm whales. Seabirds hunting for fish around the yacht add to the experience of sailing between islands.
- Saint Vincent, Wallilabou: a filming location for the first Pirates of the Caribbean film, where the fictional Port Royal harbour was brought to life.
- Bequia, Port Elizabeth: island atmosphere, time ashore and a drink at the floating bar. Shipwrecks visible from the water near Port Elizabeth add interest to coastal exploration; wreck diving around Bequia is also an option as a separately arranged diving activity. Local vendors known as boat boys may visit the yachts in the bays, offering fresh fruit or fish.
- Mustique: a famous private Caribbean island whose history is associated with Princess Margaret, David Bowie and Mick Jagger. Basil’s Bar on the waterfront is one of its atmospheric meeting places.
- Tobago Cays: turquoise lagoons, coral reefs and rich marine life make for memorable snorkelling, with opportunities to observe sea turtles.
- Petit Tabac: a palm-fringed, uninhabited island used for the scenes involving Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth stranded ashore in the first Pirates of the Caribbean film.
- Union Island and Happy Island: the lagoon’s tiny “outlaw island” is Janti Ramage’s own creation: he built himself an island by hand, then opened a bar on it. Today, this remarkable spot is a memorable stop when sailing around Union Island – we can call in for a drink too. Palm Island is another possible stop.
- Mopion and Petit St Vincent are further possible stops. The header photograph shows Mopion, an optional addition to the route.
We sail by day and spend our evenings in bays or harbours, shaping the route around the wind and sea.
